Each year, school districts, libraries, non-profits and communities from across the country come together for “Read for the Record”, a day focusing on the importance of building early literacy and language skills for young children. This year’s event takes place October 19th, and Broward County’s 40,000 students in pre-school and kindergarten will participate and receive a free book. We hear from Children’s Services Council of Broward County CEO, Cindy Arenberg Seltzer, and our very own KidVision Pre-K’s Miss Penny, on how you can help.
