March 5th was the set deadline to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program – better known as DACA. But this week the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear the case to end the program – at least for now. Prior to the court’s decision, we spoke with one local DACA recipient, Maria Angelica, about how this legislation could impact the entire immigrant community. We also get insight into what this decision means and the next steps for those affected.
