Just two years ago, a number of polls rated Governor Rick Scott as being the most unpopular governor in the U.S. This week, he was narrowly re-elected, defeating former Governor Charlie Crist in one of the country’s closest and most expensive races. Also on the ballot were a number of amendments including medical marijuana, which surprised many when it failed to pass by two percentage points. Our panel discusses what this midterm election means for Republicans, Democrats and the state of Florida.
